SPLY — Starter Shopify Theme

If you have a focused catalog, strong product photos, and you want your store to look premium, Starter does that. You get the full SPLY zoom navigation, the cutout-on-canvas look, light and dark mode with a toggle, the complete product page, the cart drawer, and all the core and editorial pages. It is a clean, fast, sellable store with the SPLY signature.

Grow adds the conversion and drop layer: the enter screen, a loading screen, a cart with a free-shipping bar and upsell and express checkout, the lookbook section, an email and SMS pop-up, and a self-unlocking drop gate. Studio adds ROAM, the infinite floating-canvas browse mode, and image or video backgrounds behind the enter screen and the drop gate. You can start on Starter and upgrade later for just the difference.

Your catalog renders as a dense grid of product cutouts on a clean background. Tap once to zoom a level in, tap a product and it opens full screen. In the product view you swipe up and down between products and sideways through their images. It still loads your products, we just made it feel as seamless as possible, so browsing feels like an app instead of a webpage.

SPLY works on every Shopify plan: Basic, Shopify, Advanced, and Plus. It is built on Shopify 2.0 (Online Store 2.0), supported across all plans. No workarounds, no limitations.

No. SPLY is a standard Shopify theme. You upload the .zip in your admin under Online Store, Themes, Add theme, and it is ready to customize. We include a setup guide with every purchase.

If you want hands-off setup, we offer a $30 theme setup service that covers uploading the theme, setting your logo, colors, and navigation, and adding up to 3 products so your store is ready to preview. That is theme setup only, not full store setup like domains, shipping, taxes, or bulk uploads.

With Install For Me, our team handles the full theme setup inside your Shopify store, so it goes live and on-brand without you touching any code. That covers:

• Installing and configuring the theme
• Adding your logo and backgrounds
• Building out the sections and layout
• Assigning your collections and menus

SPLY is built on Shopify 2.0, so any app that follows Shopify's standard integration methods (app blocks, script tags, theme app extensions) will work. That covers most popular apps: Klaviyo, Judge.me, Loox, Shopify Email, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and more.

The only apps that might need a small adjustment are ones that inject CSS targeting Dawn class names, since SPLY uses its own class system. That is rare and usually quick.

Instantly. After checkout you get an email with a download link for the .zip file. No waiting, no approval process. You can upload it to your store right away.

Each license covers one Shopify store. If you run multiple stores you will need a license for each one. This is standard across the indie theme space and lets us keep prices accessible while sustaining development and support.

Yes. Reach out and we will set up a discounted upgrade so you only pay the difference between tiers. You keep your customizations, the higher tier just adds more sections and features on top of what you already have.

Your purchase includes 1 year of email support. If something breaks, if you hit a wall during setup, or if you need guidance on customization, reach out and we will help, usually within a few hours on business days. After the first year you can renew your license to keep receiving support.

Support covers theme functionality and setup questions. Custom development, third-party app conflicts, and full store builds fall under our development services.

Your purchase includes 1 year of bug fixes and updates within your tier. When we push an update you get an email with the new .zip and a changelog so you know what changed. After the first year your theme keeps working, and you can renew to keep receiving updates.

Because SPLY is a digital product delivered instantly, we do not offer refunds after download. We encourage you to check the live demo thoroughly before purchasing so you know exactly what you are getting. If you run into a legitimate issue after purchase, contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.

The Shopify Theme Store's guidelines push every theme toward a similar structure. SPLY is opinionated on purpose: the zoom navigation, the cutout-on-canvas look, the locked design system. Selling it directly lets us keep that identity without compromise.

Yes. Every tier includes a heading and body font picker, a clean sans or Red Hat Mono for a technical feel. Your whole palette is driven by two seed colors, one for light mode and one for dark, and visitors can toggle between them. The design is intentionally constrained so your brand comes through in your product imagery, not in a 40-option settings panel.
