Return & Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases and services provided by WEBEXP, LLC ("WEBEXP," "we," "us," or "our") through webexp.dev and related platforms. By purchasing any product or engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.


ALL SALES ARE FINAL

All transactions — including digital product purchases, app subscriptions, and custom service engagements — are final and non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in this policy.


1. Digital Products (Themes, Assets & Downloads)

Due to the instantly downloadable nature of our digital products, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once a purchase has been completed and the product has been delivered.

This applies to all digital products sold through webexp.dev, including but not limited to Shopify themes (DRIFT, SMPL, and any future releases), section packs, mockup packs, design assets, and any other downloadable files.

We strongly encourage customers to review all product descriptions, documentation, feature lists, live demos, and video tutorials before purchasing to ensure the product meets your needs.

Setup add-on services (e.g. "Install For Me") bundled with a digital product purchase are also non-refundable once the service has been initiated or completed.

Licensing

Each digital product purchase grants a single-use license for one (1) Shopify store. A second store requires a second license purchase. Redistribution, resale, or sharing of purchased files is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban from all WEBEXP products and services. 2. Shopify Apps (WavExp, Build A Fit & Future Apps)

WEBEXP apps are distributed through the Shopify App Store. Billing, subscriptions, and any applicable refunds for app charges are managed by Shopify in accordance with Shopify's own billing policies. WEBEXP does not process app refunds directly. If you have a billing concern related to one of our apps, please contact Shopify Support or reach out to us and we will assist where possible.


3. Custom Services (Website Design, Development & Redesigns)

Custom service engagements — including custom Shopify store design and development, website redesigns, and ongoing website maintenance — are governed by the terms agreed upon at the start of each project. By engaging our services, you agree to the following:

Deposits & Payments

All project deposits are non-refundable. Deposits secure your place in our project queue and compensate for the time, planning, and resources allocated to your project upon acceptance. Remaining project payments are due according to the payment schedule communicated during the proposal stage.

Project Scope

Each project is scoped during the discovery and proposal phase. Work that falls outside the agreed-upon scope may require additional fees. Scope changes requested after a project has begun will be evaluated and quoted separately. We reserve the right to decline scope changes that significantly alter the original project agreement.

Revisions

A reasonable number of revisions are included as part of every project (the specific number will be outlined in your proposal). Revisions beyond the agreed-upon amount may incur additional charges. Revisions apply to design and content adjustments within the original scope — not complete redesigns or fundamental direction changes after work has been approved.

Client Responsibilities

Timely delivery of required materials (logos, brand assets, product photography, copy, and content) is the client's responsibility. Project timelines are based on the assumption that materials will be provided within a reasonable timeframe. Delays in providing materials may result in adjusted timelines. WEBEXP is not responsible for project delays caused by late or incomplete client-provided materials.

Project Cancellation by Client

If you choose to cancel a project after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. If any milestone payments have been made for work already completed or in progress, those payments are also non-refundable. We will deliver all completed work up to the point of cancellation.

Project Cancellation by WEBEXP

We reserve the right to cancel a project at our discretion if the working relationship becomes unproductive, communication breaks down, or the client engages in abusive or unreasonable behavior. In such cases, we will deliver all completed work and refund any payments for milestones not yet started.

Delivery & Approval

Upon delivery of the completed project, the client will have a review period (typically 7 days, unless otherwise agreed) to request any final revisions within scope. Once the client approves the project — or if the review period passes without response — the project is considered complete and final. No refunds will be issued after project completion or approval.

Ownership & Handoff

Upon full payment, the client receives ownership of the custom work delivered. Until full payment is received, WEBEXP retains all rights to the work product. WEBEXP reserves the right to showcase completed projects in our portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing.


4. Maintenance & Hosting Retainers

Monthly maintenance and hosting retainers are billed on a recurring basis. Retainers may be cancelled at any time with 14 days written notice before the next billing cycle. Payments already processed for the current billing period are non-refundable. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.


5. Exceptional Circumstances

While our policy is that all sales are final, we understand that rare situations may arise. We may consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis for the following:

Delivery of corrupt, broken, or incorrect files that cannot be resolved through support, a duplicate charge or clear billing error, and failure to deliver a purchased product entirely.

Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. We retain sole discretion over all refund decisions. If you believe your situation qualifies, contact us with a detailed explanation and any relevant documentation (order number, screenshots, etc.).


6. Chargebacks & Disputes

We take payment disputes seriously. If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to suspend or permanently revoke access to all WEBEXP products and services, pursue recovery of the disputed amount plus any associated fees, and ban the associated account from future purchases.

We always prefer to resolve issues directly. Please reach out to us before initiating a dispute with your bank or payment provider.
